Collection: Non-Superwash Yarns

Non-Superwash yarns refer to wool yarns that will felt (shrink) if not carefully washed. Non-Superwash may be preferred because it has not been chemically treated to make it washable (making it more environmentally friendly) or because it won't stretch as much as Superwash yarns. Non-Superwash yarn is often preferred for stranded and colorwork knitting due to the inherent grippiness of the yarn thus disguising and gaps at color changes.
